4-1-7: COMMAND AT FIRES:
The chief and his assistants are officers in command at any fire and are hereby vested with full and complete police authority at any fire. They are hereby authorized and directed to require and secure the removal of all obstructions in front of and around fire hydrants and, for that purpose, are hereby authorized to call upon the head of any municipal department for aid in securing the removal of such objects.
