A. Peddlers, Solicitors And Vendors: It shall be unlawful for any peddler, solicitor or vendor to sell or attempt to sell any product upon any public property or road in any area within the city or to engage in door to door solicitation or sales within such area without first having obtained a license for this purpose from the city. Any peddler, solicitor or vendor who is subject to regulation or licensing by agencies of the state or federal government, and where such regulation or licensing preempts local regulations, shall be exempt from the restrictions of this section.
B. Temporary Sales: It shall be unlawful to conduct a temporary sale unless a license is obtained for this purpose from the city. Conducting temporary sales for five (5) or fewer days or within fully enclosed shopping malls or buildings shall not require a license. (2005 Code)
