7-2-6: VIOLATION; PENALTY:
It is unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove or convert or demolish, equip, use, occupy or maintain any buildings or structures in the city, or cause the same to be done, contrary to or in violation of any provision of this chapter or the codes adopted by reference in this chapter. Any person, firm or corporation violating this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each day or portion thereof during which any such violation is committed, continued, or permitted and, upon conviction of any such violation, such person, firm or corporation shall be punishable by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00) (petty misdemeanor), plus costs that may be assessed.
