5-1-1: TITLE:

This title shall be known and may be cited and referred to either as the MINIDOKA COUNTY/CITIES ZONING ORDINANCE or as the RUPERT ZONING CODE. (Ord. 830, 8-6-2002)

5-1-2: AUTHORITY:

This zoning ordinance is adopted pursuant to authority granted by title 67, chapter 65 of the Idaho Code and article 12, section 2 of the Idaho constitution, as amended or subsequently codified. (Ord. 830, 8-6-2002)

5-1-3: PROVISIONS OF THIS TITLE DECLARED TO BE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

In their interpretation and application, the provisions of this title shall be held to minimum requirements, adopted for the promotion of the public health, safety and the general welfare. Whenever the requirements of this title conflict with the requirements of any other lawfully adopted rules, regulations, ordinances or resolutions, the most restrictive or that imposing the highest standards shall govern. 5-1-4: COMBINING OF PERMITS:

The commission is hereby required to coordinate with other departments and agencies concerning all permits, which may be required in this title and previously or subsequently adopted city ordinances. A one stop permit application and processing procedure may be developed with the respective departments and agencies for the purpose of reducing errors, misunderstanding, confusion and unnecessary delay for everyone involved.
