This chapter shall not be construed as repealing any ordinance now in effect or hereafter made effective relating to rubbish, litter, garbage, refuse, trash, junk, inoperable motor vehicles, or parked or stored automobiles, but shall be construed as supplementary to any such ordinance, as well as any statute of the state, relating thereto.
