(a) To guard against the occurrence of fires and to familiarize himself with the layout and construction of buildings, the availability of the water supply and the location of fire hydrants, the Chief or his or her designee is hereby vested with the authority to visit and inspect whatever premises, dwelling houses, commercial and factory buildings he deems necessary. The Chief shall be vested with the authority to investigate the causes of any fire.
(b) There is hereby established a Fire Inspection Fee schedule as follows:
First Inspection $No Fee
Second Inspection if First Inspection Failed $ 50.00
For Each Subsequent Inspection, the Fee Shall
Be an Additional $50.00 Added to the Prior Fee
