At such time as a public sewer becomes available to a property served by a private sewage disposal system, as provided in Section 912.04, a direct connection shall be made to the public sewer in compliance with this Title Three, and any septic tanks, cesspools and similar private sewage disposal facilities shall be abandoned and filled with sand or other suitable material immediately after connection to the public sewer and shall comply with all requirements of the Wood County Board of Health and the City of Rossford.
