§ 72.18 STANDING OR PARKING FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES PROHIBITED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to park, cause to be parked, or otherwise stand or store any motor vehicle attached or detached trailer upon any street or public right-of-way except for the following purposes:
   (A)   Displaying for sale;
   (B)   Washing, greasing, or repairing the vehicle, except repairs made necessary by a bona fide emergency;
   (C)   Storing by garages, dealers, or other persons when the storing is not incident to the bona fide use and operation of the automobile or other vehicle;
   (D)   For the temporary purpose of delivery merchandise, freight or residential deliveries, but not to exceed two hours for each such delivery; and
   (E)   Any NCDOT or federal highway within the town limits shall be exempt from these regulations.
