§ 33.039 AUTHORITY OF MEMBERS TO SERVE PROCESS.

The members of the Police Department shall have the power to serve civil and criminal writs, warrants, and processes, as is provided by statute, but no such process shall be served by any patrol officer without an order from his or her superior.
