The Zoning Board of Appeals shall hold at least 1 public hearing on each application for a change in district boundaries or for a change of a district regulation, off-street parking or loading facilities requirement, sign requirements, general provision, exception or other provision of this chapter within 45 days of the date when the application was filed. Notice of the public hearing shall be given not less than 15 days nor more than 30 days prior to the date of the hearing by publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the Village, and by posting on or adjacent to the property which is the subject of the application. Failure to post notice shall not invalidate the proceedings.
