§ 33.016  REFUSING TO AID OFFICERS. 
   Any person who, upon command, refuses or knowingly fails reasonably to aid a person known by him or her to be a peace officer in any of the following, shall be guilty of an offense: 
   (A)   Apprehending a person whom the officer is authorized to apprehend; or
   (B)   Preventing the commission by another of any offense.
