§ 110.01  LICENSE REQUIRED, PERSONS SUBJECT TO LICENSE, PERMIT.
   (A)   Whenever in this code a license or permit is required for the maintenance, operation, or conduct of any business or establishment, or for doing business or engaging in any activity or occupation, it shall be unlawful for any person to conduct, engage in, maintain, operate, carry on, or manage any business, either by himself, herself, or itself or through an agent, employee, or partner, without first having obtained a license for such business.
   (B)   Any person shall be subject to the requirement if, by himself or herself or through an agent, employee or partner, he or she holds himself or herself forth as being engaged in that business or occupation or solicits patronage therefor, actively or passively, or performs or attempts to perform any part of the business or occupation in the Village.
   (C)   If any business falls into more than one of the categories requiring a license under this chapter, a separate license shall be obtained for each category.
