§ 1-4-54 LUMP SUM PAYMENT UPON TERMINATION.
   (A)   (1)   An employee who terminated employment with the city is entitled to a lump-sum payment equal to one-fourth of the pay attributed to the accumulated sick leave.
      (2)   The pay attributed to the accumulated sick leave shall be computed on the basis of the employee’s salary or wage at the time he or she terminates his or her employment with the city.
   (B)   An employee of the city who receives a lump-sum payment pursuant to this subchapter and who is again employed by the city shall not be credited with any sick leave for which he or she has previously been compensated.
