§ 1-4-2 POLITICAL ACTIVITY.
   (A)   The city will comply with MCA 13-35-226 (1987) and with 5 U.S.C. Ch. 15, and will immediately take any measures necessary to effectuate this compliance. All employees of the city are ordered to so comply.
   (B)   The Clerk shall post a notice in a conspicuous location in each building where city employees are employed stating: “As an employee of the City of Ronan, you are required to comply with MCA 13-35-226 (1987) and 5 U.S.C. Ch. 15, which control certain types of political activity by public employees. Copies of those laws may be obtained from the City Clerk.”
   (C)   The Clerk shall establish a file for each city employee in which all records relating to the compliance required in this section shall be maintained.
   (D)   At the conclusion of each local, county, state or national election, the Mayor shall survey the city’s employees to determine whether violations have occurred. The records of the survey shall be placed in the files established in division (C) above.
