(A) It shall be within the discretion of the PWD to designate a service line as a main.
(B) All mains must have a separation distance from other water or sewer service lines of at least ten feet in all directions.
(C) In the event of replacement of existing lines, where separation may cause a hardship, approval of separation distance less than prescribed herein will be made by the City Council with appropriate safety precautions.
