In a case of emergency, or to make needed repairs or extensions, or for any necessary purpose, the city shall have the right to shut off or interrupt water service without notice and to keep it shut off as long as may be necessary. If the shut off can be scheduled in advance, the Public Works Department will make every effort to notify users of the time of shut off and approximate duration.
