§ 4-1-1 CODES ADOPTED.

   The city hereby adopts by reference and incorporates the following:

   (A)   The 2021 International Building Code, as amended by ARM 24.301.131;

   (B)   The 2021 International Residential Code, as amended by ARM 24.301.154;

   (C)   The 2021 International Existing Building Code, as amended by ARM 24.301.171;

   (D)   The 2018 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code, in the form adopted by ARM 24.301.175(2); and

   (E)   The 2021 International Energy Conservation Code, as amended by ARM 24.301.161.

§ 4-1-2 PERMITS REQUIRED.

   When any person shall be desirous of erecting, repairing, changing or altering any building or structure within the city limits, that person shall make application at the office of the City Clerk for a permit for that purpose. Such applications shall contain a written statement of the proposed location, with site plan, the proposed repairing, changing or altering of any building, structure, mobile or modular home. At the time of making application, such person shall pay to the City Clerk of Ronan a fee, including all water and sewer connection fees, as shown on the schedule that is adopted herewith. Upon complete application and payment of the fee, the Clerk shall issue to the applicant a permit for the commencement of work. The site plan shall show existing buildings and all other fixtures or improvements upon the property. Such plan shall be drawn to approximate scale and show the appropriate zoning setbacks.
