§ 113.06 APPLICATION/LICENSE FEE.
   Application and license fees shall be payable in accordance with the requirements of Chapters 43 and 156 of this Code of Ordinances. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this chapter, there shall be no proration or reduction of a required application or license fee based on the date of the license application, the termination of the operations of the licensed business, the revocation or suspension of a business license or any other cause or reason. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, the application and license fees shall be waived once but only with respect to the initial issuance of a license pursuant to this chapter for the year in which this chapter is adopted for any person or entity that: (1) as of the date of the adoption of this chapter holds an existing, fully paid, current, and valid business license issued by the village pursuant to the applicable village ordinances in existence as of the date of the adoption of this chapter; (ii) is in compliance with the provisions of this chapter and all otherwise applicable ordinances of the village and federal or state statutes as of the date of the adoption of this chapter; and (iii) makes application for a business license under the provisions of this chapter within the time specified in § 113.04.
