§ 76.09 PLANKING EDGE OF A PAVEMENT.
   No tractor, traction engine, or other metal-tired vehicle, weighing more than 8,000 pounds including the weight of the vehicle and its load, shall drive up onto, off, or over the edge of any paved road, street or highway in the village, without protecting the edge by putting down solid planks or other suitable device to prevent the vehicle from breaking off the edges or corners of the pavement.
