§ 52.02 POWERS OF TOWN ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR; DISCONNECTION OF SERVICE TO UNSAFE INSTALLATIONS.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of the Electrical Inspector to see that all of the provisions § 52.01 are enforced. He or she shall, upon proper application, locate entrance of service and shall make inspections of all new electrical installations, and he or she shall make such re-inspections as are necessary and as are provided for herein. The Electrical Inspector shall have the right, during reasonable hours, to enter any building in the discharge of his or her official duties or for the purpose of making inspections, re- inspections or tests of installations of electric wiring, devices, appliances and equipment contained therein.
   (B)   The Electrical Inspector is hereby empowered to disconnect or order the discontinuance of electric service to any electrical wiring devices, appliance and equipment found to be dangerous to life or property because they are defective or defectively installed until such wiring, devices, appliances and equipment and their installation have been made safe as directed by the Electrical Inspector.
