All new electric service of light and power, or any service being altered or changed, shall be installed in rigid conduit or metallic electric tubing from entrance conduit distribution center of all buildings or structures within the electric distribution system of the town. Material from the conduit to the switch box is to be furnished by the contractor. At least three feet of wire shall be provided beyond entrance conduit. New electric service of the distribution lines of the town shall be of 3-wires 240-volt, unless specified otherwise by the Electrical Inspector.
