§ 30.19 TAX ABATEMENT PROCEDURES.
   (A)   All requests or petitions for real and/or personal property tax abatements in the town shall first be reviewed by the Parke County Redevelopment Commission.
   (B)   The Redevelopment Commission shall review all abatement requests and make a recommendation to the Town Council as to whether said abatement request should be granted. The Council, however, shall not be bound by the Redevelopment Commission's recommendation.
   (C)   The Redevelopment Commission shall establish procedures for considering and reviewing abatements and shall create general guidelines for the public concerning abatements.
   (D)   That applicants for abatements will provide the Town Council with an abatement calculation agreement for real property and/or personal property (as appropriate) prior to final action by the Town Council on any abatement. Such agreement shall be in substantially the form attached to Ordinance 2020-05A but may be modified by the Town Council from time to time.
