§ 96.002 SIDEWALK DISPLAYS AND SALES DURING PARKE COUNTY COVERED BRIDGE FESTIVAL.
   (A)   General prohibition. Except as otherwise contained in this section, it shall be unlawful for any person to display merchandise on the sidewalks in the town during the annual Parke County Covered Bridge Festival.
   (B)   Exception(s). With respect to properties located on the Town Square and properties located on Ohio Street between Michigan Street and Erie Street, the temporary display of merchandise shall be allowed in front of and adjacent to the front wall of a merchant’s place of business upon the condition that a minimum five-foot wide passage be maintained for pedestrian traffic at all times along the sidewalk. The five-foot width shall begin at the curb or the inside edge of the uppermost sidewalk where the sidewalk is divided into two or more levels. No such use of any sidewalk shall be permitted where the sidewalk is less than five feet in width.
