§ 93.40 ASSESSMENT OF COSTS; LIEN AGAINST PROPERTY.
   (A)   The total cost of abating the nuisance, as confirmed by the Town Council pursuant to § 93.39, shall constitute a special assessment against the respective lot or parcel of land to which it relates, and upon furnishing the County Recorder a certified copy of the cost of abatement as confirmed by the Town Council, the same shall constitute a lien on the property in the amount of the assessment, as provided by I.C. 36-1-2.
   (B)   Upon certification of the assessment, the County Auditor shall levy the same against the property, and the amount shall be collected in the same manner as municipal taxes are collected, subject to the same delinquency provisions as for ordinary municipal taxes; or the lien, after recordation, may be foreclosed by judicial or other sale in the manner and means provided by law for foreclosure of such liens.
