If a nuisance is abated by the town under this chapter, an accurate account of the costs (including incidental expenses such as for preparation of notices, printing and mailing) shall be kept, and the town officer making the abatement shall render a written and itemized report of the costs to the Town Council. The Town Council shall fix a time and place for a hearing on the cost report, and shall send a copy of the report and notice of the hearing to the owner or interested parties as provided by § 93.37. At the time and place fixed for the hearing, the Town Council shall hear and pass on the report of the costs, together with any objections or protests. The Town Council may make any revisions or corrections in the report, and its final decision shall be inclusive.
