(A) No poles for electric, telegraph, telephone, or cable-vision service or for any other purpose shall be placed on any street of the city without a permit.
(B) No permit shall be issued for the erection of poles on any street where there already exists a line of poles supporting electric, telephone, cable-vision, or telegraph wires.
