(A) Inspection. It shall be the duty, upon request of the Public Utilities Director, to cause inspections to be made of properties served by the public water supply where cross-connections with the public water supply are deemed possible. The frequency of inspections and re-inspections shall be set by the Public Utilities Director.

(B) Right of access. The Public Utilities Director or authorized representative shall have the right to enter, at a reasonable time, any nonresidential property served by a connection to the city public water supply for the purpose of performing the duties of this chapter. In those cases in which the property owner chooses not to provide such access, the Public Utilities Director or authorized representative may designate the location as a high hazard in accordance with § 52.06.
