§ 35.04 LEDS CHECK REQUEST BY NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.
   A non-profit organization serving youth in the community, including but not limited to organizations which serve youth baseball, youth basketball, youth soccer and youth football, may request the Police Department perform a criminal history check on a prospective or serving employee or volunteer for their organization. Subject to workload priorities and staff availability, a Police Department LEDS operator may perform such criminal record check in accordance with applicable law. The LEDS operator will report to the Police Chief the applicant's records indicate "criminal record" or "no criminal record". The Police Chief shall confirm report to the City Manager and the non-profit organization that the applicant's records indicate "criminal record" or "no criminal record", without any further detail of such report. The non-profit organization may request the criminal record history directly from the OSP pursuant to statute and administrative rule.
