§ 53.08 MAIN EXTENSIONS.
   (A)   The city may authorize water distribution mains and related connections. All extensions of distribution mains shall include installation of service to all adjacent properties.
   (B)   Any plans for the extension of water mains shall conform to an overall plan for water service to all residents of the city. All main extensions shall become the sole property of the city upon completion.
   (C)   Extensions of water mains shall be made only along city streets, county roads or other satisfactory rights-of-way approved by the city. Extensions shall only be approved where the city has an adequate water supply for the new customers, and where the city can provide and maintain adequate pressure to the customers without detriment to existing water customers.
   (D)   No extension of a water main shall be authorized until the applicant files with the city any necessary permits, licenses or approvals required by the city and any other governmental agency.
   (E)   Any plans, blueprints, specifications and the like, filed with the city shall become city property and remain on file at City Hall as public documents.
   (F)   All extensions shall conform to the city's adopted Design Standards and Technical Specifications and shall be approved by the City Engineer prior to construction.
