§ 52.024 CONSUMERS LIABLE FOR CITY SERVICE TO FROZEN PIPES; MULTIPLE CUSTOMERS ON SAME LINE PROHIBITED.
   (A)   In case the city furnishes any service with respect to thawing any frozen water pipes, either in the service pipe and connections or to pipes located on a consumer's premises, the consumer shall pay the amount as may be fixed by the Board of Waterworks Trustees, and the charge shall be added to the regular water bill of the consumer, and the nonpayment thereof shall be subject to the penalty collection charge and the liability of having the water disconnected as is provided with respect to repairs made by the city.
   (B)   In the passage of this chapter it is expressly stipulated that not more than one consumer can be supplied from one tap to the water main or one service line.
