§ 118.20 INVESTIGATION BY CHIEF OF POLICE; DELAY IN PERMIT ISSUANCE.
   The Chief of Police may make such investigations of each and every applicant for a street solicitor's permit as the Chief may deem proper and if, in his opinion, a longer time than is provided in this subchapter is required, he shall be at liberty to refuse to authorize the issuance of such a permit until such investigation is completed.
