(A) Pursuant to I.C. 35-46-3-1, it shall be unlawful for the owner of any dog to keep or maintain a dog over six months of age unless it shall have been vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian with the anti-rabies vaccine.
(B) Each dog shall be current on vaccinations, and the owner shall maintain proof of the vacation.
(C) Failure to have a dog properly vaccinated may result in the impoundment of the animal in addition to the penalties contained in § 91.99 of this chapter.
