§ 90.04 RESPONSIBILITY OF VEHICLE AND PROPERTY OWNER.
   (A)   (1)   The owner of an abandoned vehicle is responsible for the abandonment and is liable for all the costs, not to exceed $100, incidental to the removal, storage and the disposal of the vehicle.
      (2)   Should the owner or lien holder fail to claim the abandoned vehicle, the costs incidental to removal, storage and disposal of the vehicle shall be paid from the Abandoned Vehicle Account.
   (B)   Neither the owner, lessee or occupant of the property from which an abandoned vehicle is removed, nor an agency, towing service or scrap yard is liable for loss or damage to the vehicle during its removal, storage or disposition, as provided by Indiana law.
