(A) Retractable awnings may project over a public sidewalk or public right of way, provided the lowest part thereof is at least seven feet (7') above the surface of the sidewalk or right of way and said awning shall project no closer than two feet (2') from the curb line of any adjoining street.
(B) No fixed awning, canopy, hood or other similar fixed structure shall project over any portion of any public sidewalk or public right of way in the village.
(C) All awnings, canopies, hoods and other similar structures shall be constructed in accordance with the provisions of section 4-1-12 of this code. (Ord. 1883, 2-5-1990)
