It shall be unlawful for any person to make any use or publication of the official Village Seal, Village logos, or Village flag design without first obtaining authorization and approval of the President and Board of Trustees. Any person convicted of a violation of this section shall, upon conviction, be subject to the penalty as provided for by section 1-4-1 of this title, and each day that such violation continues shall be considered to be a separate offense. In lieu of filing a complaint in court, the proper police officer or other designated officer may employ the compromise and settlement procedure as provided in section 1-4-6 of this title in full settlement, compromise and disposition of any claimed violation of this section.
