The fee for a permit to engage in solicitation required pursuant to this chapter shall be equivalent to the permit fee for peddlers as provided for in section 3-1-6 of the village code, which fee shall be waived if the applicant can demonstrate that the payment of such fee will impose an undue hardship on the individual applicant’s proposed activities.
