Any of the following shall be a violation of this chapter and shall be subject to enforcement remedies and penalties:
(A) To install, create, erect, or maintain any sign in a way that is inconsistent with the regulations set forth herein.
(B) To fail to remove any sign that is installed, created, erected, or maintained for which the time limit is exceeded or lapsed.
(C) Each day of continued violation shall be considered a separate violation when applying penalties.
(D) Signs that are not in keeping with the provisions of this chapter may be removed at any time as deemed by the Village Council.
(E) Failure of an owner to comply with the provisions listed above shall be cause for the village government to issue an order to have the sign removed. If the owner does not comply with this order the cost of removal plus all accrued costs associated with noncompliance shall be assessed to the property owner’s tax records.
