Applications for building permits, as provided for in section 7-1-2 of this chapter, shall be accompanied by a survey of the land upon which the building is to be erected, and said survey shall be a land survey made by a registered land surveyor. The survey submitted with an application must be certified by a registered land surveyor within six (6) months of the date on which the building permit application is submitted to the Building Commissioner.
