2-11-4: ORGANIZATION AND MEETINGS:
   (A)   The Commission shall hold meetings as may be necessary, and these meetings shall be held in the Village Hall or in some other suitable place. All meetings shall comply with the Open Meetings Act.
   (B)   The Commission shall elect a recording secretary who shall be responsible for taking minutes of meetings, preparing agendas and other duties as prescribed by the Commission. The Commission shall establish rules as are necessary to carry out their duties and responsibilities.
   (C)   The Commission shall elect from among its members a vice-chairperson who shall preside in the absence of the chairperson.
   (D)   The Commission shall have such staff as shall from time to time be assigned to the Commission by the Corporate Authorities. The Corporate Authorities may allocate funds to be used for the expenses of the Veterans' Commission.
   (E)   The Veterans' Memorial Commission shall use volunteers to the maximum extent possible, to obtain information, to disseminate information, and to perform the functions of the Commission in the most effective way possible. (Ord. 2023-20, 10-5-2023)
