The Inspector of Weights and Measures may, with the approval of the Village Board, procure correct and approved standards of weights and measures of the standards adopted by the State of Illinois, with their necessary subdivisions, together with the proper beams and scales, for the purpose of testing and proving the weights and measures of said standards used in the Village.
