All water service pipes hereafter laid shall be of not less than three-fourths inch (3/4") internal diameter, and shall be equipped with a buffalo or shutoff box, including a roundway stopcock, and constructed and located to the satisfaction and approval of the president of the village and the committee on sewer and water.
Each private supply pipe and each service pipe, branch or independent connecting pipe drawing water from such private supply pipe, shall be equipped with a buffalo or shutoff box, including a roundway stopcock, and constructed and located to the satisfaction and approval of the president of the village and the committee on sewer and water. Each buffalo box shall be a type or design to be approved by the president of the village and the committee on sewer and water. (Rev. Ord. amended 5-11-1961)
