The director of emergency services or other officers of the emergency medical services division or fire operations division shall have the power to cause the removal of any property whenever it shall become necessary for the preservation of life or of such property from fire or other imminent danger, or to prevent further harm or injury to persons, the spreading of the fire, or injury and damage to adjoining property.
