The age for retirement of persons in the service of the village as regular members of the police department, pursuant to appointment thereto by the board of fire and police commissioners, as provided for in article 10 of the Illinois municipal code, is sixty (60) years. All such members of the police department shall retire on or before having attained said age. (Ord. 1990-3, 2-15-1990)
