This chapter shall become effective immediately upon approval. This chapter shall not be construed to prevent, limit or modify any other provisions of this code regarding zoning, building and/or life safety. This chapter shall not limit or modify the application of other provisions of this code with respect to properties submitted to the provisions of the Illinois condominium property act prior to its effective date.
