There is hereby adopted for the purpose of prescribing regulations for pedestrians and the operation of vehicles on the village streets, that certain code known as the Illinois vehicle code, being in particular 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes, three copies of which code have been and now are filed in the office of the village clerk, and the same is hereby adopted and represented as fully as if set out at length herein, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the village.
