A. Duties: It shall be the duty of the ordinance enforcement officer to issue written parking, rubbish and sign violation notices as may be from time to time prescribed by the chief of police. In addition, the ordinance enforcement officer shall perform other related work as required involving the enforcement of various sections of this code.
B. Limitations: The ordinance enforcement officer shall not have the general power or authority of a police officer and shall be strictly limited to the exercise and performance of the duties provided in subsection A of this section. (Ord. 2166, 1-14-1985)
