7-1-9: VEHICLE FIRES:
   A.   Definitions:
   FIRE: Actual fire in or emitting from any portion of the vehicle or trailer, hot wheel or brake drums and any ignited flammable material leaked from a defined vehicle onto the ground.
   VEHICLE: Any motorized vehicle or wheeled trailer, including railcars and locomotives.
   B.   Response: Motor vehicle fires which require a fire service response also require special training and equipment to be maintained by the Fire Department to safely and professionally respond to these special incidents.
   C.   User Fees: Users of these fire services shall pay for such services at a rate as defined in 70 Illinois Compiled Statutes 705/11f, for both resident and nonresident. These fees shall include, but shall not be limited to, actual manpower costs for all personnel that respond to the incident (minimum of one hour) and the cost on a per hour basis for each fire apparatus or other Village mechanical equipment that responds to the incident (minimum of one hour per unit), after extinguishment, investigation and cleanup is completed at the scene.
