The village of River Forest shall provide for health department services through the village administrator or his/her designee. For the purposes of this code, the term "health officer" shall mean any person, or persons, authorized under applicable federal, state, or village law to conduct inspections of food establishments, and designated by the village administrator, or his/her designee, to serve as the health officer.
