A. Right To Amend: The village reserves the right to amend this chapter to incorporate customer service requirements that exceed the standards set by the FCC, if such standards are deemed to be more beneficial to the village's residents.
B. Every Franchise Subject To Reserved Power: Every franchise awarded pursuant to this chapter shall be subject to such reserved power whether or not such franchise is expressly conditioned such reserved power.
C. Notice And Opportunity For Comment: The village shall provide a grantee with ninety days' written notice of such amendment as referred to in subsection A of this section, and shall offer the grantee an opportunity to enter comments on such amendment. Said amendments shall be adopted by ordinance.
D. Exception To Compliance: In no event shall any grantee be required to comply with any amendments to the village's cable television ordinance that would unilaterally amend the rights, duties, or obligations granted by the franchise agreement and the cable television ordinance in effect at the time.
