The Seal heretofore provided and used by and for the Village (the impression of which is in circular form) with the words "Village of River Forest, organized October 24, 1980", on the outer circle, and in the interior of said circle the monogram "RF" together with the inscription "SILVA IN FLUMINE", shall be and is hereby established and declared to be the Seal of the Village. A facsimile of such Seal is as follows:
and same is declared to be and is adopted as the Corporate Seal of the Village and shall be kept in the custody of the Village Clerk. (1981 Code)
